Website

Websites like forums or online guideboooks, were the first digital resources for paddlers.

If a resource is a Website, it is optimized to be used on a big screen. It may or may not be also optimized for mobile devices.
Some Websites for paddlers have a long history and only work well on a desktop- or laptop computer. If they are not designed to be mobile friendly, they may still work on a phone or tablet, but are often hard to use, as it needs a lot of zooming around the small screen. Some functions of a non- mobile friendly website may rely on the user having a Mouse to hover over an element, which can not be done on a touch -only device.

Stream Beam

Our goal is to put monitoring stations in remote stream locations that are left off the USGS and other agencies priority list.

We aim to partner with and work for the community to reach as many streams as possible. StreamBeam is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.

We gather, maintain, and present valuable stream data as an open resource for the community.
